The Chalet
The house is located in Fryksås village with breathtaking views of Lake Orsa and the Siljan area. Hiking and biking trails in summer and ski trails in winter are located directly outside the house, and Fryksås is surrounded by beautiful nature.
Welcome in
When the front door opens, you are greeted by a welcoming hall. Bathroom with wooden bath, shower and sauna. Furthermore, you enter the kitchen and the cozy dining area. The floor in the kitchen is polished porphyry from Älvdalen, and in the bathroom unpolished porphyry.
Facts about the porphyry
About 1.7 billion years ago, the porphyry from Älvdalen was formed in connection with huge volcanic eruptions. The porphyry consists of quartz that is colored by different metals and minerals in color scales between red and black.
Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms with the master bedroom being the biggest. It is spacious and cozy with a king size bed and large closets for storage. The room also has a desk by the window and an armchair.
Next to the master bedroom is bedroom number two, with a bunk bed for two people. These two bedroom have their own bathroom.
The third bedroom is located by the living room and has a bunk bed and a desk.
Living room
The living room is a wonderful space for socializing. Sit on one of the sofas in front of the fireplace and enjoy the crackling of the fire. Remember that Fryksås is synonymous with peace and quiet.
The air, the silence and the surroundings mean that you automatically feel relaxed.
The yoga loft
Upstairs you will find the yoga loft. A room for recovery and exercise. On the loft there are yoga accessories such as yoga mats, blocks and bolsters. There are also speakers to connect your phone to if you want music for your relaxation.
Bathroom
The chalet has two bathrooms. The largest bathroom consists of an unique wooden bath tub, a traditional sauna and a shower.
The second bathroom is placed by the master bed room and has a toilet and a shower.
The chalet has washing machine facilities.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need for a pleasant stay.
Facilities that are provided:
Coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer, stove, oven and microwave.
The dining table is large and accommodates many wonderful dinners and breakfasts.
